REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!

1. Open up new image – 750 x 750 – transparent background.

2. Create new layer - fill with foreground White #ffffff

3. Open up tube (used 'white' layer) - copy and paste onto your canvas - resize to 45% - sharpen.
Rename layer as 'Irma'. Position tube a bit lower than the canvas.

4. From kit - select 'Frame 11' - copy and paste and resize by 80%. Position behind tube as seen in tag.

5. Open Paper 7 (or any other reddish-like paper) - copy and paste as new layer behind frame.

6. Highlight frame layer. With your magic wand, select within the frame (hold down your shift key to select portions
not within the main frame). Go to 'Selections' - Modify - Expand - 3. Press OK. Selections - Invert - Delete. Then Select None.

7. Go to Elements Folder - Choose Element 6 - Copy and paste above paper layer. Resize by 50%. Sharpen. Change blend mode to screen.
Position as seen in tag.

8. Pick Element 15 - Copy and paste above red paper layer. Resize by 80%. Position as seen on tag.

9. For the rest, you get to play around with the elements - you can either choose the exact ones I've used on the tag
or use others. There's so many to pick from! Just remember to try to resize appropriately so it doesn't overshadow your tube.

10. Once satisfied with your placements. Apply drop shadow. To all those behind the tube, I went with: 6,3,80,8
For all tubes to the side/front of tube go with: 1,5,80,8
(note! No shadows applied to the white lace flower and tree as they're too 'flat' to look good with shadows)
Merge your shadowed layers together.

11. Duplicate your tube. On copy change blend mode to 'Soft Light'. Merge down and use same drop shadow: 1, 5, 80, 8.

12. From kit, choose WA 3. Position above tube (see tag). Resize by 40%. Sharpen.

13. Choose another reddish paper of choice. In this case Paper 20. Resize to 750 x 750. Paste above white layer. Sharpen.

14. Apply mask of choice or Mask #279 from Rene Kunert. Duplicate mask layer. Merge down.

15. Open element 106 - the music sheet - copy and paste above mask layer. With your eraser tool, erase edges (this is actually
optional, but do it anyway *lol*). Change Blend Mode to 'Soft Light'. Do not merge! You can duplicate this layer
and move to either side of frame, so it 'fills' the mask (or rather you get to see the music notes).

16. Apply your copyright information.

17. Write your name using the text 'Old Finlander' or one of your choice.

18. Save and you're all set! However, if you want to animate, keep on going *points down*

---------------

ANIMATION TIME!

1. In Animation Shop, Open Animation Package #8 - Animation #32 - the music notes. You should have 24 layers.

2. On the menu bar, go to Edit - Select All - and make sure you're in the first frame!

3. Back to PSP. Close out all the layers ABOVE the tube + tube itself. Making sure you are on a layer that's not closed out,
copy merged and paste as new image in Animation Shop.

4. Press Ctrl + L and duplicate your layers until you have 24 of them (see bottom left side of your workspace to keep
count). Once done, edit - select all - make sure you're in the first frame!

5. Go to the music notes and drag from the first frame to the first frame of the tag itself. Align/position somewhere
in the middle - see tag example. Keep all frames still selected.

6. Go back to PSP - Uncheck all layers layers ABOVE tube + tube itself and now close out all layers below them. Copy
merged and paste as new image in AS. Repeat process for duplicating layers until you have 24 of them. Select all.

7. Making sure you're in the first frame, drag your top half of the tag unto the main tag (with your music notes added)
Make sure you position well so it doesn't look 'off'.

8. Now view animation by clicking on View - View Animation. If the notes are moving too fast for you, go to Animation - Frame Properties
Play around with the speed (increase or decrease the numbers) and see what works best.

9. Save your tag when finished and that's it! Hope you had fun! :D

PTU Tutorial "VeryMany - Hallows"

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

[You Must Have Working Knowledge of PSP!]

Paint Shop Pro Vers. 9+
Your tube of choice. Tube used for this particular tutorial is the lovely 'Witch 10' by VeryMany.
You must have a VeryMany license to use it.
Kit used is the adorable 'Happy Hallows' by Rene Kunert - available at her store
Mask of choice or use one supplied by Rene Kunert - available for download at her store
Download Mask Here
Fonts of Choice or Burton's Dreams

-----------------------------------------------------

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!

1. Open up new image – 750 x 750 – transparent background.

2. Create new layer - fill with foreground White #ffffff

3. Open up tube - copy and paste onto your canvas - resize to 40% - sharpen. Rename layer as 'Witch'.

4. In your kit, go to the frames folder and choose 'Frame 3' - copy and paste unto canvas -
move beneath 'Witch' layer.

5. Go to Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - Select 90 degrees - Direction 'Left' - and uncheck the boxes beneath.
Click 'OK'.

6. Resize frame to 75% - sharpen - reposition as seen on finished tag. Rename layer as 'Frame'.

7. From kit, choose Paper 6 - resize to 500 x 500 - sharpen. Copy and paste beneath 'Frame' layer.

8. Using your selection tool, freehand, feather - 0, draw a rectangle around the frame. Keeping your paper layer
highlighted, go to 'Selections' on your menu bar - Invert - and then hit the delete key. Selections - Select None.

9. We are going to focus on creating a backgound scene within the frame, so going back to your kit, select Elements
7, 29, 38, 43, 42, and 40. Resize all down to 55% and position as seen in tag. Sharpen.

10. Once all your elements are arranged, highlight your frame layer. Using your freehand selection tool, draw around
the frame. Go to Selections - Invert - and then begin deleting all the excess elements sticking out of the frame.
Selections - Select None.

11. Now apply a shadow to each of the layers within the frame with the settings: 3, 0, 70, 7. Merge all your elements
in a single layer. Duplicate the layer. Click on duplicated layer, choose the overlay mode option. Click Ok. Merge
both layers. Now merge down with paper layer. Rename this all as 'Scene'.

12. Open up Element 1. Resize to 50%. Sharpen and position above frame layer. Carefully erase top of safety pin. Apply
drop shadow: 3, 2, 70, 7. Repeat drop shadow.

13. Open up Element 7. Resize to 50%. Sharpen and position as seen in tag. Apply drop shadow if needed.

14. Arrange all other elements as seen on tag, keeping resize at about 45%-55%. Remember to sharpen your elements once
resized, and apply drop shadow.

15. Once satisfied with your element placement - select Paper #1 - resize to 750 x 750 - sharpen and place on layer
right above your white background. Apply mask provided or use any of your own.

16. From kit choose Element 35 - copy and paste above masked layer. With your eraser tool, erase the edges. Apply drop
shadow.

17. From kit select either word art - for this tag, I used WA 1 - resize by 45% - sharpen - place as seen on tag.

18. For an extra finishing touch, duplicate your 'Witch' layer. Highlight your duplicated layer and select the 'Soft
Light' blend mode. Merge both witch layers and apply drop shadow.

19. Apply your copyright information. I use the font 'FFF Harmony' for mine.

20. Now you can write your name on the tag. Font used is called 'Burton's Dreams' - you can use any font of choice.

21. Save and you're all set! :)
